The electric energy meter is used to verify the accuracy of all kinds of single phase electric energy meter. It can also be used to measure the parameters of power frequency alternating current. The following small series for you to introduce the meter reader test signal access.

In the use of the instrument, there are three kinds of signal input: AC voltage, AC current, electric energy pulse.

When the instrument is in the measuring voltage, only one end of the two voltage testing wires is inserted into the voltage input socket at the bottom of the instrument, and the other end is connected with the measured voltage terminal. Note the connection sequence, the voltage test line should be inserted into the socket of the instrument, then connect the other end to the measured object. The size of the test terminal is different, can be selected according to the needs of the connection fork.

The value of effective instrument when measuring the current connection is not required, the current jaw open wiring to clamp the measured current. Note current in the wire diameter should be jaw with diameter of 15 mm) diameter less than should be to make the jaw clamps a wire in the fully closed, otherwise it will cause great error.

The instrument can measure the frequency of the signal at the same time when the voltage / current is measured. Simultaneous input voltage and current signals are needed to measure other communication parameters. And requirements of the position and the direction of the wiring correct: voltage line -- black, pick the measured end of the zero line, yellow line connected the measured end phase. The current direction should be consistent with the jaw side marker.

When the instrument is in the calibration of single phase electric energy meter, it should be connected with the electric energy pulse signal in addition to the correct access voltage and current.
